My pups are hand raised and I socialize them at an early age. They get a lot of love, care and nurturing from Mom, but they also get special care from me. They gain a bond with the human touch just the same as if I (a human) where part of their litter. They learn I mean warmth, comfort, safety and food. The need the human touch and contact. A puppy grows fast and so does his mind and their need to learn. Each day is a new step for them. Puppies that are left just to the mother or left with her to long do not form as good of a bond with humans as they should. They tend to want to stay on the floor and do not interact as well as other Yorkies. They lack the communication skills that are needed between the pet and owner. The miss that special connection. A hand raised pup that it done right needs little and is not spoiled. He is on a schedule that meets his needs so he is able to sleep and rest in comfort. From their first milk to their last day is kind of puppy pre-school. As they grow they are comfortable with you and will do anything for your approval. They do not have the stresses that box puppies have so they have a more relaxed and peaceful way to them. I touch and talk to them all the time. Even a sleeping puppy is taking in all that goes on around him. They learn the world around them and how to interact and cope with new things. My pups want eye contact and human interaction. They are very smart and love to learn. They play with and find comfort in each other, but do just fine when they go to their new homes because they already know the comfort of a human touch and like it.
About our Yorkies

I do not own, operate or sell our pups to pet stores, dog brokers or puppy mill breeders. I have taken great care in breeding my dogs and only sell to families and to breeders with small breeding programs. If your looking for dogs to mass breed or resale your on the wrong website. Our Yorkshire Terriers are provided with excellent living conditions and the best of care. They have a very normal home life and get lots of attention.

Yorkshires are very intelligent and energetic dogs. They find great joy in entertaining themselves. They love to play and pack around toys. A small ball or cap is a whirl wind of a toss game for them. If they tell you something is under the cough or behind the chair. Trust me it is there. They will hide something and then hours or days later to retrieve it from it's special place. They love to snuggle with a toy and blanket come night time.
There is no wonder as to why the charm and beauty of this breed has taken such a special place in our hearts. They are endearing, tender and loving. Each one has their own personality and behavior traits. A new little person in each of their faces. Each one the ability to suck you right in. It is a blessing to see how much they shower you with love and affection. Always wanting to please and ready to do what ever your doing. Always a buddy to greet you at the door and by your side till it's time to hog up your side of the bed.
